Come along to Long Acre Arts in Bingham to try this beautiful combination of traditional batik & silk painting.
Traditionally batik is used as a resist method on cotton, and a sticky substance called Gutta is used with silk painting. However, you get the best of both in these sessions – apply the wax resist lines with hot wax, and then enjoy applying the beautiful vibrant colours of the silk paint!
